Managing and Disconnecting AI Connections

Every AI assistant you've connected is listed in your profile, and you can disconnect any of them at any time.

Seeing your connections

  1. Click your avatar and choose My Profile.
  2. Open Integrations.

Under Connected apps, each connection shows:

  • App: the assistant's name.
  • Workspace: the workspace or workspaces it can reach. A connection made with the all-workspaces option says so, and it also covers workspaces you join later.
  • Access: the permissions it holds. Hover over one to see what it means. If access differs between workspaces, this reads Varies by workspace.
  • Connected: when you approved it.
  • Last used: when it last did anything, or Never.

Disconnecting

  1. Click the trash icon on the connection's row.
  2. Confirm with Yes, disconnect it.

The assistant loses access within a minute. To use it again, you'll need to reconnect and approve access again. You can also remove the connector inside Claude or ChatGPT, but disconnecting here is what actually cuts off ContactDrive access.

Changing what a connection can do

You can't edit a connection's permissions after you've approved them. To widen or narrow them:

  1. Disconnect it here.
  2. Reconnect from your assistant. In Claude or ChatGPT, open the connector's settings and choose to connect again.
  3. On the consent screen, choose the workspaces and permissions you want this time.

Connections are personal

Only you can see and disconnect your connections. A workspace admin can't see or disconnect another member's connections, and you can't see theirs.

Admins stay in control a different way: a connection can never do more than its owner's current role allows. If an admin narrows someone's role, their assistant is narrowed too. If an admin removes someone from the workspace, that person's connections lose access to it on the next request.

Unused connections expire

A connection that isn't used for 30 days expires and drops off this list. Reconnect from your assistant to use it again. A connection in regular use keeps working without your signing in again.

When to disconnect

  • You've stopped using that assistant.
  • You connected on a device or account you no longer control.
  • You want to change which workspaces or permissions it has.
  • You see a Last used time you don't recognize.
