Workspace Settings Overview
Workspace Settings is the control room. Everything that shapes how your workspace behaves for everyone in it — who's on the team, what fields exist, how you're billed, which apps can talk to you — lives behind one gear.
Settings require admin access. If you click through and land somewhere unexpected, or don't see Settings in your sidebar at all, you're on a User role rather than an Admin one. Ask whoever owns your workspace to promote you.
Getting there
Click Settings in the left sidebar. You'll land on Details, and the rest of the panes are listed down the left of the Settings screen.
What's in each pane
- Details — the workspace name, its owner, its timezone, and its account status.
- Users — invite teammates, resend invitations, and remove access.
- Roles — the Admin and User defaults, plus any custom roles you build.
- Billing — your payment method, invoices, and subscription.
- Plans — compare Core, Plus, and Edition, and change what you're on.
- Credits — the balance that metered app actions draw down, and auto-refill.
- Activity Types — the kinds of activity your workspace records.
- Custom Fields — the data points beyond the built-in ones.
- API Keys — credentials for webhooks, integrations, and anything talking to our API.
- Inbound Email — a BCC address that logs correspondence to contact timelines.
- Sidebar — the order things appear in your left-hand navigation.
- Tags — the workspace's tag vocabulary.
A word on who can see what
Settings changes are workspace-wide. Renaming the workspace renames it for everybody, deleting a custom field deletes the data in it for everybody, and a new activity type shows up in everybody's dropdowns. None of this is per-user preference — the one genuinely personal setting in the list is Sidebar, which only reorders your own navigation.
