Exporting Contacts

You now have all of your contacts and their activity all in one place in ContactDrive, and need to export a specific group of contacts for a specific purpose. Let's do this!

To get started, go to the Contacts tab of your workspace.

  1. Note that your exported file will contain the contact columns and filtered data just as it appears on the screen, including the column order, sorted criteria, custom fields, and filters, so be sure it is displayed how you need it to be in your exported file.
  2. Think you'll need this export again in the future? You can save a view by clicking on the Views button above the main contact grid. Be sure to check the boxes to save columns and/or filters if those are important to recreating this format.
  3. Once you have the view the way you like it, click on the Actions button near the top right of the grid, then drop down to "Export Contacts."
  4. You should see a green pop up window at the bottom letting you know that the export is underway.
  5. To get to the exported list, from that same Contacts grid screen, click on the drop down arrow under the blue "Add Contact" button, then click on "View File History."
  6. From that screen, you can download the export by clicking on the blue Download button.
